As midwives, we know how vulnerable and unknown the postpartum period is, which is why we will see you 2-3 days after your birth, again at 1 week, and then again at 2 weeks and 4 weeks or as needed until your final 6 week postpartum appointment. This allows us to support you in your lactation journey, monitor your newborn closely, and also allows us to be available for education and counseling. We believe that this model of postpartum care is what sets us apart.
