What is a Doula?

A doula is a non-clinical provider that specializes in the support of physiological births and advocacy. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated home birth or a scheduled induction of labor with an epidural, a doula is an educated and experienced labor support whose sole job is to support you.

Helpful even for couples who have had babies before, a doula can offer support to you and your partner, helping them know how best to support you through the various stages of labor.
