My name is Amanda. I have been a midwifery student with Mercy in Action College of Midwifery since 2022. My journey with midwifery started in 2012 as a midwifery student in Idaho. I had to put studies on hold once I found out I had my own high-risk pregnancies. However, I didn’t put my love for midwifery on hold. I was able to train as a doula and continue with Midwifery Care alongside Maternal Fetal Medicine through my pregnancies. I have been blessed with 6 children: 2 in heaven and 4 on earth, 2 of whom Maria King helped deliver! I look forward to serving families with compassion and evidence-based practice as I grow in the role as a Student Midwife.
